The second time I made this I forgot to add the Corn Meal.......my family will not let me live that down. It was still good and tasted a bit like a sweet, frosting-less cake.

2 whole eggs
1 cup milk
2 sticks butter, softened
2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
1 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
4 tablespoons (heaping) cornmeal
Beat eggs and milk with a fork. Set aside
Mix butter, bisquick, sugar, soda, and cornmeal well.
Add the milk mixture. Stir by hand (batter will be lumpy and curdled-looking).
Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 deg F for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with honey.
