Cocoa Fudge

In a heavy sauce pan mix:
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 teaspoon cream of tarter

Mix well, stir in
1 1/2 cups milk
pinch of salt

Place on high heat stir until mixture boils.
Turn to medium low.
Cook to the mark just below softball stage.

Take off heat and add
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla

Place pan in cold water bath. Do not stir!
Let stand 15 to 20 minutes.
Then stir until thick.
Pour into buttered dish.

This is amazing when my Mom makes it! (isn't everything)

Hey Aunt chris, I found this on Susans Blog and thought I'd say "hi". You have some yummy looking recipies I'll have to try them becsuse I am sick of all the stuff I make. Hope things are going good.

29Palms is no picnic. There is nothing to do there. I worked at the PX on base and found a fun group of friends, I am still in touch with a couple of them. I was quite young and dumb when we were in the Military. If I went back I would get more involved in the activities on the base and if your son is involved in Church, stay close to those people as well. I used drive 2 hours just to go to the mall. You really have to venture out and go for a long drive in order to have some fun. We went to Six Flags, Knotts Berry Farm, & Disneyland or to other bases but they were all 2-3 hours away. Good Luck. This reminds me of licking the spoon and fighting over who got to test out if it was done by droping it in cold water and testing to see if it balled up and then eating the balls mmmmmmm
